If Tobacco Turns Black, Is It Okay To Smoke?

by HookahGenie 1 comments

If your hookah tobacco turns black, it is the sign that is starting to burn or it is completely burnt. It is suggested to remove the coals once every 3-5 minutes and clean the ashes. This will help keeping the tobacco moistened and less likely to burn. In addition, if the flavor begins to diminish, it is suggested to remove the coals to cool the tobacco.

It is not good to smoke burnt tobacco because of the following reasons:

  • Harsh taste
  • Contains chemicals
  • Begin to smoke the coal
  • Tobacco turns into tar
  • Makes bowl dirty and residue remains on the hookah bowl
