Gypsy Cafe is one of LA's best Hookah bar in my opinion. I grew up going to this place and my experience has always been the same. Every time I step foot in this lounge, there is good musing playing and the crowd is extremely chill and fun. Most of the people who attend this lounge go to U.C.L.A. The music on Thursday nights are also really good. They typically play rap and really good middle eastern and techno music. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great.
Gypsy Cafe also has a beer and wine license, which is always a plus. The best thing on the menu has to be there tomato soup, which I always order, even after a full course meal.
There hookahs are good, too. I really like to smoke their Al-Fakher tobacco. Besides that I really do not go there to smoke but to hang out with friends and have a good and fun night. If I was going to smoke hookah, I would pack a bowl at home and enjoy my own clean hookah at my own convenience. So if you want to get out, have fun and smoke some hookah go here whenever you are in Los Angeles.
