Hookah Set Up

The following steps are guidelines to setup your hookah. These instructions are helpful for every Hookah user whether its your first time or not.

Step 1 - Twist the body up and counter - clockwise from base to open.


Step 2 - Fill base with enough cold water to submerge the bottom of the body pipe (root) about 1 inch, then close twist back stem onto base counter clock wise. Tip. make sure the body and the base are air tight and that water is chill.

Step 3 - Sprinkle tobacco into bowl and make sure that it is not just stuffed into bowl. Tip. Before sprinkling tobacco, try to separating each tobacco particle in that they are not stuck together.

Step 4 - Cover the bowl with Aluminum foil and make little holes starting from the middle of the bowl. Make sure the holes are small. Then if the bowl is wobbly, wrap a small piece of Kleenex around to secure it and keep it from falling. Tip. Cut a 5'' by 5'' piece of foil in order to cover the head with it.

Step 5 - Check that it is air tight between the body and hose. If air is apparent, use a small piece of Kleenex to wrap around hose to securely fasten it.

Step 6 - Ignite the coal by placing it over a stove or fire and place it on the edges of the bowl. Tip. If tobacco begins to burn, simply remove the coal off the bowl and place it on the vase until tobacco cools.

Step 7 - Take in 5 little breathes simultaneously in order to start the hooka

A good tip for making sure the tobacco is dispersed properly:

Cut the tobacco with some scissors several times (keep cutting for about 30 sec) once you put it in the bowl. This way you guarantee that it doesn't stick together.
