It was brought to our attention that students from all around North America have gathered to share their common interest of the Hookah on Facebook.com. Facebook is the number one social network platform for students around the world who network with one another. Users are able to create groups and invite their friends to join the network who share a common interest. The largest Hookah Group was founded by Jesse Friedland from Vancouver, Canada. Friendland has invited many of friends to the group and has appointed them as officers in order for them to join the network as well. The group is named Hookah Alliance and there are about 2,000 members aboard. The group does monthly giveaways of Hookahs and the members get to ask each other questions about their water pipes. There is also a large discussion board where members can post questions about smoking Shisha. The rise of Nargila smokers amongst college students between the age of 18-21 is increasing significantly over the last few years. Facebook is one medium, which exemplifies this occurring amongst young students.
